STINGER PRACTICE
Registration and forms
Registration covers the id, the insurance card and the forms. The four forms on this desk are the privacy notice acknowledgment, consent to treat, assignment of benefits, and a release of information.
What it does
Here is what it does.
Who it is for: For the front desk at check-in.
- Tracks each form as needed, handed over, or signed.
- Records a signature with the time when you say the person signed in front of you.
- Marks the visit’s forms done once the privacy acknowledgment and consent to treat are both signed.
- Addresses a release of information to the person or office you name.
- Checks coverage with the payer. Self-pay patients are marked self-pay.
How it works
- Hand the form, or say "hand Elena the consent."
- The patient signs on paper or on the pad.
- Say "Elena signed consent to treat." The form shows signed, with the time.
- For a release, first say who it goes to, then record the signature.
Sign-in
One sign-in.
Staff use the same Stinger sign-in as Command Center. Signing in opens that person’s Firm portal, Practice, or House.
