STINGER PRACTICE
Reference shelf
The reference shelf is a set of short, dated notes the desk can quote. It covers screening, vaccines, three common drugs, billing rules, the forms, and how each desk works. It is stored in the practice’s database.
What it does
Here is what it does.
Who it is for: For anyone at the desk who needs to check a rule fast.
- Screening notes: breast, colorectal, cervical and lung cancer, blood pressure, depression, diabetes, aortic aneurysm and bone density.
- Vaccine notes: flu, Tdap, shingles and pneumococcal.
- Drug cards for lisinopril, metformin and atorvastatin.
- Billing notes: how a claim leaves, modifiers 25 and 59, denial code CO-16, place of service 11, bundling edits, visit time bands and waived lab tests.
- Notes on each form and on how the desks work, including RXNT and Weave.
- Every quote ends by saying the note is not an order and to confirm the current source.
How it works
- Ask "what is CO-16?"
- She quotes the note on the shelf and names it.
- If the shelf has no note, she says so.
Sign-in
One sign-in.
Staff use the same Stinger sign-in as Command Center. Signing in opens that person’s Firm portal, Practice, or House.
Please read
- Nothing on the shelf is an order, prescribing information or medical advice.
Please read. Practice is office software, not medical advice. Annabelle does not practice medicine. Your EHR stays the medical record. Annabelle is an AI and can be wrong. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
