STINGER PRACTICE
Imaging, lab, referrals, prior auth
These four worklists track work from start to finish. Each item moves one step at a time, and the steps that need a person stay with a person.
What it does
Here is what it does.
Who it is for: For the imaging tech, the draw station, and the referral and authorization coordinator.
- Imaging: moves an exam through ordered, scheduled, arrived, scanning and complete. The physician you name signs the report.
- Imaging: an MR waits until its prior authorization is approved.
- Lab: moves an order through ordered, collected, sent and pending at the reference lab.
- Referrals: move through draft, sent, booked and closed.
- Prior authorization: moves from needed to submitted, then approved with the payer’s number, or denied.
- Each list allows only the next step, so nothing skips ahead.
How it works
- Say "move Marcus’s MR to scheduled."
- If the authorization is not approved, she says the MR is waiting on it.
- Say "auth approved, number PA-1234." The MR can now go ahead.
- After the scan, say "Dr. Cole signed it." The report is signed.
Sign-in
One sign-in.
Staff use the same Stinger sign-in as Command Center. Signing in opens that person’s Firm portal, Practice, or House.

Please read. Practice is office software, not medical advice. Annabelle does not practice medicine. Your EHR stays the medical record. Annabelle is an AI and can be wrong. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
