STINGER GPS AND GEOFENCE
Where and when, on the record.
Every photo and visit carries GPS and the time, and checks it was taken at the right place. That right-place test is a geofence. When two nearby sites are too close to tell apart, it says so rather than guessing.
What it is
Location and time, attached to the work.
Every photo and visit carries where it happened and when, with a geofence check, and it is honest about the limits of GPS.
What it does for you
GPS and time on every visit
Photos and visits carry the location and the time, so there is a record of where the work was done and when.
A geofence check
Each visit is checked against the site's geofence to confirm the person was actually there.
It admits when it is not sure
When two nearby sites are too close for the GPS accuracy to separate, it declares the ambiguity instead of guessing.
Real screen
The check-in and geofence explainer.
Photo binaries are not loaded on a local boot, so the capture area shows its empty state honestly. Choose the site before taking the photo, using the location information to check which job the evidence belongs to.
County parcel lookup
Owner, parcel and acreage for five Florida counties.
County parcel lookup is live for five Florida counties: St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River, Palm Beach, and Orange. Enter or drop a pin on a site and it returns the owner, parcel id, acreage, and assessed value, pulled from each county's own public GIS. Outside these five counties it returns an honest no-data result rather than guessing.

How it compares
GPS and Geofence against a location-stamping field app.
Plenty of field apps stamp a photo with a location. The plain difference here is that when GPS cannot tell two close sites apart, this says so rather than picking one, and it lives in the system that already holds the job.
| Feature | GPS and Geofence | A location-stamping field app |
|---|---|---|
| Photos and visits carry GPS and the time | Yes | Some apps stamp a photo with location |
| A geofence check on each visit | Yes | Varies by app |
| Declares when two nearby sites are too close to tell apart | yes: says it is ambiguous rather than guessing | no: typically picks the nearest and moves on |
| Part of the system that runs the rest of the business | Included with every Command Center tier | Separate app, priced per user |
