STINGER FIRM
Engagements
Engagements mark the line between a conversation and a client. A matter stays closed until the engagement is signed.
What it does
Here is what it does.
Who it is for: For attorneys and staff who open matters.
- Records the retainer amount you name for the matter.
- Records the engagement as signed once the retainer is set.
- Opens the matter when it is signed, unless a conflict is still held.
- Refuses time and invoices on a matter whose engagement is unsigned.
How it works
- Say "retainer $1,000 on Fence line."
- Say "sign Fence line."
- The matter is open, and time and invoices can now go on it.
Sign-in
One sign-in.
Staff use the same Stinger sign-in as Command Center. Signing in opens that person’s Firm portal, Practice, or House.
