Gates every build phase behind a required photo, checksums each one, and gives clients a live portal, so disputes get settled by the record.

CONSTRUCTION PLATFORM

Milestones, photos, permits, crew. You cannot skip a stage.

The job management software a construction crew runs a build on: staged milestones, a photo required before you move on, permits and crew tracked against the job. Keep the tools you already run, like Buildertrend, and switch when you are ready. Included with every Command Center tier. Works for a remodel, a roof, a ground-up buildout, or a pool.

See it in action

The construction jobs list across every phase.

A build phase with its jobs and the phase gate.

Rivera’s job 1001 lists the construction phases, target dates, completed work, and remaining photo or checkpoint requirements. The phase list shows what must be cleared before the next part of this seeded pool build proceeds.

The permit tracker, with the permits on file for the job. The paperwork status sits beside the job.

A real change order: CO-1, plus $4,740, priced against the signed contract, signatures required.

Subcontractor compliance: license and insurance expiry on file per sub.

The Blue Water Construction home shows 12 active jobs, $451,660 collected, and 11 draws due alongside the items needing attention. The office can open a job or draw from this overview before continuing the work in that record.

Inside Command Center

The Blue Water Command Center Today screen shows unpaid invoices, customer issues and sample search-visibility checks.

A job record in Command Center that Construction reads from and writes to. The customer record sits next to the next action.

Schedule a visit in Command Center, the same place a Construction milestone is booked.

Send a document to sign from Command Center, right next to Construction. Prepare the document at the signature step, with sending controls available from the same working console.

The Command Center history log, where actions around Construction are recorded.

The stages

Staged milestones, and why you can't skip one

The stage list is configured to the build in front of you, whatever the trade. You can't close a stage without the photo that proves it was done. The exact stage list for a given trade, like the nine a pool build runs, lives on that trade's card.

Project Management

Full construction project tracking from contract to startup.

Required Photo Documentation

No phase closes without the photo record to back it up.

Crew Assignments

Who's on site, on which phase, tracked against the schedule.

A hard photo minimum, per stage

Each of the nine stages has its own minimum photo count, 18 in total, and the stage cannot advance without them. A build like a pool with its own detailed checklist, such as the required photo library on Pool Construction , layers the trade's own detail on top of that floor.

The Evidence

How does the photo record hold up if a customer disputes a repair?

A record that can't be quietly edited

Each jobsite photo gets a checksum: proof the file wasn't swapped later. SHA-256, so the proof holds up if it's ever questioned.

Permit & Compliance Tracking

Permits and compliance status tracked against every project, in real time.

Subcontractor Validation

License and insurance validation on every subcontractor before they're on site.

The Client View

What does the client see in the portal?

Site Plans

Site plans attached to the project, visible to everyone who needs them.

Material & Finish Selections

Customer selections captured and tied to the build, not a separate spreadsheet.

Client Portal

A client portal showing real project status, not a guess, not a phone tag.

GPS on the record

Where was each entry taken?

Every crew login and site visit is GPS-stamped, job-site photos and video carry a geofence check, and the site record shows where each entry was taken. The site record keeps the GPS stamp on the file, so where a photo was taken travels with it. When two saved sites are close enough that the phone's own GPS accuracy cannot tell them apart, the app declares the ambiguity and asks which one, rather than guessing and filing the photo to the wrong job.

GPS-stamped site records

Seeded job photos, each carrying GPS, the time, and a geofence check.

Site survey and layout

Measure the site, mark the obstacles, place the plan.

Measure the site, mark the obstacles, and the layout engine places the plan; a geofence is set around the job. The same site survey and layout, home on Venue is available on the job. For aerial site capture, type an address and the aerial arrives already scaled, or paste a Google Maps screenshot or drop a file, then draw the usable area and the things that cannot be built on, and nothing is uploaded until you save; satellite imagery can be a season out of date, so anything the photo cannot confirm still needs the tape on site.

Site survey and layout

The site survey: measured width, depth, drive edge, fire lane, surface, power, and every obstacle recorded from the lower-left corner. Record the measurements before generating a layout, so clearance and obstacle positions can be checked against the site.

The layout engine's result: the plan placed to scale on the measured rectangle, with the fire lane and drive edge kept clear, plus the assignment list.

The phone view that offers nearby saved sites as geofence candidates, so a photo is tied to the right job automatically.

Photo Markup

Point at the problem, on the photo itself.

Draw an arrow, a callout, or a highlight right on the photo, so a crew member knows exactly what you mean, a homeowner can see exactly what was found, and a dated, marked-up photo backs up the record if it is ever disputed. The original photo is never touched: markup is stored separately and drawn on top, so the unmarked photo the camera actually captured is always there.

Arrows, shapes, and text

Point at the exact spot, circle it, or write a note directly on the photo.

Blur and redact

Blur a license plate or a face before sharing a photo with an insurer or using it as marketing, without touching the original.

The original stays intact

Markup is layered on at view time. What the camera actually saw is always recoverable.

Jobs & draws

From a signed contract to a draw schedule.

A contract becomes a numbered job

Turn a contract into a numbered job with site details, deposit and a schedule of phases and draws.

Hold, resume, close and warranty

Hold, resume and close jobs under a policy you set, and keep warranty records.

Draws, balances and accounting exports

Track draws, additions and balances per job and export for accounting; recording a payment is a record, not a card charge.

Price book options become change orders

Offer the customer priced options, and an approved option becomes a change order.

Field work

Change orders, daily logs and a phone that works offline.

Change orders with a drawn signature

A change order records the price, the approval it needs and the customer's drawn signature; this is not a third-party e-signature certificate.

Daily logs, work orders & selections

Keep daily logs, work orders, customer selections and notes on the job.

Field entries queue and replay

Crew entries made on a phone are queued and replayed when a connection returns; filing a stop does not close a phase or move money.

Route ordering, arrival and departure

Order the day's stops and record arrival and departure when route and location features are turned on.

Equipment & subcontracting

Vehicles, serials, bids and the truck.

Vehicles, tools and inspections

Assign vehicles and tools, run an inspection checklist, and a failed item can open a repair work order.

Equipment serials and crew performance

Track equipment serials and installs, and read technician and operating summaries.

General-contractor items and closeout

Track bids, items and closeout checks for a general-contract job.

Materials, budget and the truck

Track materials, budget, purchase orders and deliveries, and note what was used or missing from the truck.

Calculations & trades

Load calculations, roof take-offs and trade-specific records.

Load calculations and roof take-offs

Save an electrical load calculation, or trace roof planes to get area, squares and bundles; these are calculations from what you enter, not engineering sign-off or aerial data.

Trade-specific job records

Trade-specific records such as event run sheets, treatment details and inspections sit on the same job.

Spreadsheet import and support

Import customers from a spreadsheet and file support tickets; customer email needs the mail connection set up.

Questions people ask

What build stages does Construction track? The stage list is configured to the build in front of you. A pool build, for example, runs nine stages: excavation, steel, plumbing, gunite, tile, coping, equipment, plaster, and startup. A stage can't be closed out until the photo proving it was completed is attached, whatever the trade. How is the photo evidence protected from being altered? Every jobsite photo gets a SHA-256 checksum at capture, so there's proof the file wasn't swapped or edited later if a stage is ever disputed. Can clients see project status themselves? Yes: a client portal shows real project status, site plans, and the customer's material and finish selections, so they aren't relying on a phone call to know where the build stands. Does it track permits and subcontractor compliance? Permits and compliance status are tracked against every project in real time, and subcontractors have their license and insurance validated before they're allowed on site. Is Construction connected to Service and Stinger Proof? Yes. All three run on the same backend. A photo captured on a construction job is the same record the Service platform and the Proof module see, not a separate copy.
